July 2015.
2 6/17/2015 Do any of the Current Visors provide Laser Protection? If so, can the government share the protection levels? Are they providing Adequate protection? What are the issues with the current laser visors? (if they are any fielded)
The current LEP Threat Spectacle program is a spectacle procurement only. This question is not relevant to current
LEP Threat Spectacle program.
3 6/17/2015 Is there a target/objective VLT? Can the government provide the minimum threshold required VLT the Laser
Spectacle must provide in order not to negatively effect the performance of the HUD and NVGs?
PLT/SLT levels have been updated in the LEP Performance
Specification. The updated LEP Performance Specification will be provided with the Draft RFP.
4 6/17/2015 Can the government provide the Field of View NVG's and

13 6/17/2015 Are there any unclassified government specifications that address similar wavelengths and desired optical densities that could be referenced as data point (i.e. U.S. Army APEL, USAF ALEPS, etc)?
There are no unclassified government specifications that address similar wavelengths and optical densities that could be used as a reference
14 6/17/2015 Is there an Angular Dependence Objective/Requirement? Angular Dependence requirements are contained in the LEP

Not separately priced (NSP) means the price is included in the unit price of another contract line item.
18 6/17/2015 The SOW calls out (35) distinct CDRL's. It is requested that
NAVAIR consider removing some of these requirements as they may be unnecessary and add cost to the program. We recommend that you consider removing CDRL's for: Test
Readiness Reviews, System Engineering Management Plan, FRACAS, Conformance Inspection Test Plan, Logistics
Product Data Summaries, Maintenance Task Analysis, Maintenance Support Plan, PHS&T, DMSMS, ISIL, LORA.
Quality, delivery, sustainability, logistics, and reliability of products produced under this contract can be verified by other CDRL's as well as audits of products, facilities, and records.
The Government will consider your recommendation.
19 6/17/2015 We recommend that all CDRL templates be distributed to interested bidders prior to issuance of the RFP as they are a major determinant of the level of program support to prepare for in an upcoming proposal.
Draft CDRLs will be included in the Draft RFP.
20 6/17/2015 When can we expect to receive this document? It is imperitive for us to review this document immediately as we must start to consider long lead tooling and materials to produce to this specification.
Instructions for requesting the Classified Draft Appendix C were provided in the posting to FedBizOpps on 28 May
2015.
