About this file

This document contains a requirements traceability matrix and details for a solicitation seeking a wired tactical telephone system. The Marine Corps is soliciting proposals to manufacture and deliver the Wired in the Defense Marine Analog Tactical Telephone to provide a redundant wired command and control communication capability that can operate in point-to-point or point-to-multipoint configurations. The system must be handheld, weigh less than four pounds, incorporate audio and visual call indicators, and utilize batteries from both military and commercial sources with standby and active battery life minimums. Environmental requirements include temperature, shock, vibration, water immersion, and dust specifications. The system must meet EMI standards and fabricate with quality materials free of defects.
