About this file

This document provides testing procedures for a cabin flow valve to be used on a United States Marine Corps aircraft. The valve will undergo a series of leak tests, including a case leakage test where combined total leakage shall not exceed 0.144 lb/min, and a port leakage test where leakage shall be between 1.5 to 1.7 lb/min. Functional tests will ensure the valve achieves specified positions and flow rates across defined current ranges applied to an electromagnetic control valve. Additional tests include a proof pressure test with pressures up to 27 psig, preliminary electrical tests measuring insulation resistance and dielectric strength, and an actuation time test where the valve must open or close within 1.25 seconds. Documentation of all test results is required.
