About this file

This document outlines test procedures for valve and actuator assemblies to be used by the United States Marine Corps. It specifies testing requirements for minimum starting voltage, maximum operating current, timing, external and internal leakage, unsealing excursion, gear backlash, dielectric strength, polarity, potentiometer linearity, servo motor functionality including continuity and starting voltage/polarity. Support equipment and limits are defined for each test. The related solicitation seeks a pre-check test stand to support testing of these components to the standards described in the procedures.
