About this file
This is Amendment No. 1 to Solicitation No. 459868 issued by Brookhaven National Laboratory's Procurement and Property Management office, addressing questions and answers regarding two 10,000-gallon above-ground fuel storage tanks.
The amendment clarifies that tank installation is included in the scope of work, with delivery, unloading, and installation required at Brookhaven National Laboratory (98 Rochester St., Upton, NY 11973). The tanks will store unleaded gasoline and E-85 fuel for on-site vehicles, using a Fuelmaster FMU 2500 Master Unit with FMLIVE module dispenser system. Key requirements include: tanks must be exactly 10,000 gallons (no smaller alternatives accepted), rectangular tanks are acceptable, UL 142 certification is mandatory (European EN 12285-2 certification not accepted), and lead time extensions will not be granted. The delivery site is a Department of Energy National Laboratory with restricted access, requiring entry through a guard booth during designated hours. The specific on-site delivery location is yet to be determined.
