Project Marlinton Warehouse Electrical Improvements
General Information
1.0 Scope of Work
The project will consist of adding additional outlets to the existing warehouse for the Marlinton Ranger District of the Monongahela National Forest. The attached sketch shall provide general locations of outlets, exact locations to be coordinated with the COR. There will be approximately 10 single gang duplex outlets and two 2 gang duplex outlets. The conduit to be utilized shall be EMT, and surface mounted. The contractor shall supply all materials and labor to install the outlets and complete any incidental work. Installation of conduit, wire, and any other work to electrify the outlets shall be incidental to the installation of the electrical outlets. All work shall comply with the NEC. Outlets shall be tested in the presence of the COR.
2.0 Background
The Marlinton Ranger District of the Monongahela National Forest is in need of additional power outlets in its warehouse to accommodate for convenience, as well as additional capacity for field equipment chargers. The warehouse is located at the Marlinton Ranger District’s Warehouse located at the Ranger Station in Marlinton, WV.
Contractor Requirements
3.0 Technical Requirements / Tasks
Contractor shall be a licensed electrician in the state of West Virginia and maintain liability insurance. NFPA 70 shall supersede any other documentation provided.
4.0 Government Furnished
Government shall furnish access to the facility during regular business hours (M-F 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM), as well as restroom facilities onsite. No work shall be permitted on weekends or on federal holidays without the written permission of the CO. Any government provided property shall be returned prior to payment of the final invoice.
