About this file
The document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB 25-08) issued by Walton County, Florida, for the construction of a maintenance building at the Eagle Springs Golf Course Complex in DeFuniak Springs. The project encompasses a base bid for a pre-engineered metal building of approximately 9,600 square feet, including site preparation, utility connections, foundation, and exterior shell construction. The contract includes two alternates: Alternate 1 covers the interior build-out with framing, finishes, bathrooms, mechanical rooms, and systems installation; Alternate 2 involves site access and parking lot construction. The contract duration is set at 120 days for substantial completion, with an additional 30 days for punch list items.
The bid requires the selected contractor to be an insured, licensed General Contractor in compliance with Walton County Ordinance 2009-01 and obtain a Walton County Building Permit as per Ordinance 2005-29 (amended by 2007-91). The scope of work includes detailed specifications for site grading, utility connections, structural elements, ADA-compliant features, interior systems, and parking infrastructure. Specific requirements include impact-rated doors and windows, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, flooring, cabinetry, and coordination with Public Works for right-of-way access if necessary. The project appears to be funded through local county resources, with emphasis on comprehensive facility construction and site development.
