About this file

This document is Addendum No. 1 for Invitation to Bid (ITB-25-056-FH) issued by the City of Altamonte Springs for an Erosion Control Countermeasures project within the Little Wekiva River between State Roads 436 and 434, specifically addressing Hurricane Ian Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) Erosion Control efforts. The addendum, dated July 11, 2025, provides clarification and instructions to bidders regarding the bid submission process, emphasizing that bidders must acknowledge receipt of the addendum by indicating it on their Proposal Bid Form.

The addendum includes a response to a Request for Information (RFI) from an interested party who inquired about quoting pre-fabricated buildings and various structures. The city's response clearly states that the items mentioned in the RFI are not applicable to this specific project. The document provides an acknowledgment section for bidders to complete, including spaces for company name, signature, and officer details, and outlines the procedures for submitting bids with the addendum, such as including the addendum in a sealed envelope or revising electronic submissions.

EROSION CONTROL PROJECT)

Addendum No. 1

DATE: July 11, 2025 TO: All Interested Bidders and Other Interested Parties FROM: Fabio Henao, CPO

The City makes the following changes, additions, deletions, information, and/or clarifications and now considers the addendum a part of the Invitation to Bid (ITB) Document. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum by indicating receipt in the space provided on the Proposal Bid Form. If the bidder has already submitted the Proposal Bid Form to the City’s Procurement Division, the Bidder should sign and return this addendum in a sealed envelope or revise their electronic submission to include this addendum. The envelope should include the company name and address, the bid number, opening date and time, and "Addendum No: 1." In any case, the submission of a bid is acknowledgment of receipt of the addendum. The City will construe all bids received as though the Bidder has received and acknowledged the addendum.

Below is the City’s reply to RFIs (Request for Information – a/k/a bid inquiries or questions) submitted by interested parties by the posted deadline to submit RFIs.

Q1: After a careful review of the specification and/or drawings I did not see anything within our standard manufacturing processes and I would greatly appreciate any opportunity to quote you for any Pre-Fabricated Buildings Including Bullet Resistant Structures, Isolation Rooms, Cleanrooms, Press Boxes, In Plant Offices, Generator Enclosures, Control Buildings, E-Houses, Substation, And MCC Buildings, Data Centers, Canopies, Shelters, Towers, Stair Systems and Mezzanines.
