About this file

This is a Small Business Preference submittal form for the City of Austin, Texas, issued in connection with an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Golf Course Accessories and Supplies to be utilized by Austin Parks and Recreation. The form provides instructions for offerors to voluntarily participate in the City's Small Business Preference Program, which is designed to encourage small business participation in City solicitations. Participation in the program is optional and not required to submit a responsive bid. The City recognizes small businesses as entities holding recognized certifications that comply with the U.S. Small Business Administration's Small Business Size Standard. Offerors meeting the defined criteria are encouraged to complete and submit the form with their offer, providing information regarding their recognized certification, the certifying entity, certification name and acronym, certification number, and certification expiration date.

The City of Austin reserves the right to request additional information to confirm an offeror's certification status and may contact the certifying entity directly for verification. Misrepresentation of certification information may result in the City withholding any available preference, disqualifying the offeror from the resulting contract for non-responsibility, or voiding the contract if the misrepresentation is discovered after award. The form contains no specific pricing terms, contract duration, renewal options, funding amounts, or other financial details, as it functions solely as an optional certification submittal to allow small businesses to claim eligibility for procurement preferences.
