About this file

This is an Employer Certification document for the Wage Theft Ordinance Responsibility Criteria issued by the City of Austin, Texas, in connection with IFB 8100 SAR1015 for Window Washing Services at Austin's airport. The solicitation was posted on April 27, 2026, and seeks to establish a new five-year contract for window washing and related services to address increased cleaning demands and support future expansion projects across the campus. All employers submitting offers must certify compliance with the City of Austin Ordinance No. 20221201-031 and complete mandatory wage theft training within 30 days of contract award. The certification requires that firms confirm they have not been adjudicated for wage theft-related incidents as defined in Austin City Code Chapter 4, Sections 4-22-1(G) and (H) within the five years preceding the solicitation posting date.

The document mandates that authorized representatives of bidding firms execute the certification under penalty of perjury, attesting that their company agrees to abide by all requirements outlined in Austin City Code Chapter 4, Sections 4-22-5(B) and 4-22-6(A). Firms must provide their full legal entity name, the signature and printed name of an authorized certifying officer, the officer's title, and the date and location where the certification was executed. Questions regarding the wage theft ordinance requirements and training registration should be directed to the Wage Compliance Team at wagetheft@austintexas.gov.
