About this file

This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) attachment document for the City of Houston, Texas, related to leak detection services for the municipal water distribution system. The contract requires the contractor to provide leak detection services for an estimated 500 linear miles of the City's water distribution system annually, with a survey mile defined as one linear mile of water distribution main assigned by the City through GIS mapping regardless of the number of appurtenances inspected within that mile. The contractor is responsible for supplying all materials, equipment, transportation, and labor necessary to fulfill the scope of work requirements. The contract represents a significant infrastructure maintenance initiative focused on identifying and locating leaks within the City's extensive water distribution network to support system integrity and water conservation efforts.

The document appears to be a supporting attachment to the formal IFB, likely containing technical specifications, performance standards, or procedural requirements for conducting the leak detection services. Specific pricing terms, contract duration, renewal options, response deadlines, and award dates are not detailed within this particular attachment file. Additional contract documents, including the main IFB notice and scope of work details, would contain comprehensive information regarding bid submission procedures, evaluation criteria, contract term and conditions, and any applicable set-asides or incumbent contractor information.
