As part of the Coast Guards Logistics Transformation Modernization
Program the preventative maintenance program will be moving to an electronic documentation system. The Coast Guard Asset Logistics
Management Information System (ALMIS) will be used to track all maintenance. Under ALMIS will be the Electronic Asset Log (EAL) that maintenance units will access to generate Maintenance Procedure
Cards (MPC). These cards will be used to guide the technicians in performing the required equipment maintenance.
Until this new system is fully implements, the following pages will be used as the guidelines for all DGPS related maintenance.
