About this file

The document is a Homeland Security Acquisition Manual (HSAM) Appendix G Checklist for Controlled Unclassified Information, specifically for a janitorial services contract with the U.S. Coast Guard. The checklist is designed to ensure proper handling of sensitive information, requiring review and signatures from various officials including the Requiring Official, Chief Security Officer, Chief Information Officer, and Privacy Officer. The form systematically evaluates potential access to controlled unclassified information (CUI), information system usage, data retention requirements, and privacy considerations for the contract.

The associated federal contract opportunity is a small business set-aside for janitorial services at the U.S. Coast Guard Base North Bend and Air Facilities Newport, with a solicitation number of 70Z03325Q31191051. The estimated contract value is $98,500, with quotes due by 3 PM PST on 08/20/25 via email to Ava Stow. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) with an active status and have the appropriate NAICS code (561720 - Janitorial Services). The government intends to award to the low-cost, responsible, and responsive offeror providing the most advantageous offer.
