About this file
This is a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) document for a federal janitorial services solicitation. The contract is for one year of services (2024-2025) with the incumbent contractor being Reliance Contractors, Inc. (contract number 70Z03324PSEAT0113). Services begin at 2 p.m. daily except for the AIRFAC Building which starts at 8 a.m., with these schedules designed to minimize operational impact. The facility serves approximately 150 employees, though future staffing projections are not releasable.
Key operational details include: no secure areas currently require escorts; floor stripping and waxing can be performed outside Monday-Friday with COR approval; janitorial closets are available for storage and accessed via master keys provided to staff; Room 147 in the Hangar Building is no longer a janitor supply closet. The government provides utilities for equipment and chemical storage, and supplies can be shipped directly to the facility through Base Shipping and Receiving. The incumbent has no documented performance issues or cure notices. Bidders must determine appropriate staffing levels to meet Performance Work Statement requirements, with contract evaluation criteria found in Section M of the solicitation. The contract includes clauses requiring compliance with updated wage determinations, though the government does not track employee PTO or vacation accruals.
