About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for the Targeted Requirement Execution (TREX) 3 Multiple Award Contract solicitation, containing administrative inquiries from potential contractors and corresponding government responses. The Q&A covers multiple topics including serial numbering requirements for sets, kits, and assemblies across different delivery orders, document access protocols, and page limit constraints for proposal submissions. Key responses include clarifications that set, kit, or assembly definitions will be detailed within individual delivery orders, confirmation that contractors must request restricted documents when amendments are issued, and a denial of requests to expand page limits for delivery order management proposals, with the government asserting that the current 5-page limit has been adequate for past solicitations.

Table 1 of L.0.12 on page 66 of the RFP provides a page limit of 5 pages for each delivery order. In order to adequately cover all of the ELIN items, CLIN structures and milestones (which will exceed dozens in total) required for our schedules, we are requesting permission to submit the proposed schedules for each of the four delivery orders of Volume 3: Factor 3 - Delivery Order Management as a separate attachment in either Microsoft Excel or Project formats. We are requesting no page limit for the proposed schedules. Additionally, since Factor 3 requires a structured approach for systems integration, procurement, logistics, shipping and delivery with significant details of each process, we are requesting a page count increase to seven pages for each of the four delivery orders.
No. The page count remains unchanged. It has been deemed adqueate for the past 2 TREX source selections and hundreds of post award DO competitions since 2015.
