Request for Information II

For

H9227623R0029: Body Armor

29 August 2023

Q1: Will any samples be necessary?

A1: Samples will not be required, as long it can be clearly demonstrated that the items provided meet the specifications stated.

Q2: May we include a subcontractor's past performance as part of our past performance submission?

A2: It would be preferrable to have your own past performance, however, sub-contractor past performance is acceptable as long as you can clearly demonstrate that you performed as the

Prime Contractor on your subcontractors’ contracts. You are not permitted to submit your subcontractor past performance as your own. In such case, you as the prime contractor will have to clearly demonstrate effective management of the sub-contractor performance on your contractor.

Q3: Given the Berry Amendment and other clarifications provided in your answers from earlier today, do you plan to issue an extension on the contract?

A3: No, the applicability of the Berry Amendment should not impact the proposal due date, therefore, it has been determined that there will be not extension at this time.

Q4: What are the sizes and color requirements for the helmets?

A4: 25% Small, 25% Med, 50% Large, all Coyote/Tan

Q5: Will other cuts besides mid-cut be accepted on the helmets, such as high cut/low-cut?

A5: Yes.

Q6: Are there any attachments such as NVG rails that need to be on the helmets?

A6: NVG rails should be on the helmet. No other attachments are required.
