Q1: Does the items have to be Berry Compliant

A1: Yes, All Items requested under solicitation H9227623R0029 shall be Berry Compliant

Q2: Is an ACH Helmet acceptable or only a MICH helmet?

A2: Yes, ACH Helmets are acceptable so long as, you can clearly demonstrate that the helmet(s) meet the salient characteristics stated.

Q3: Is there any weight requirement for the IV Plates?

A3: There is no weight requirement. Lighter would be preferable, but not mandatory- so long as, you can clearly demonstrate that the plates meet the salient characteristics stated.

Q4: Are the IV plates NIJ Certified or just NIJ Compliant?

A4: Certified preferred, but compliant is acceptable

Q5: Are there any restrictions regarding ITAR in this contract?

A5: Yes, ITARS requirement are applicable to this requirement as necessary. Please reference

DFARS 252.225-7048 in the solicitation.

Q6: Is there any additional information you can share regarding the IV plates?

A6: No. Offerors must be able to clearly demonstrate that the items being offered clearly meet the specifications stated in the solicitation.

Q7: Where are these items being shipped to.

A7: Please refer to SLINS 0001AJ, 002AJ, 003AJ, 004AJ, and 005AJ for specific locations.
