Questions & Answers H92222-10-R-0018

TCCC

48. Do you want the contractor to supply both the Combat Operator Trauma Kit and the Combat Medic Trauma Kit identified in the Performance Specification Annex, or are we to assume that you will be combining our kits with the Combat Operator Trauma Kit and the Combat Medic Trauma Kit that SOF currently receives from existing vendors? If you would like the contractor to supply these kits, to which module would you like them added?

No. The government will look to the sustainment module to provide items to replenish a depleted operator or medic kit in the field. The requirement is for the integrator to provide the specific items identified for like item replacement.

49. Regarding the Performance Specification 4.1.5.2.8, please confirm that you would like a non-folding knife.

Confirmed, non folding knife is requested.

50. In order to prepare an adequate response to USG requirements, will USG provide extension of time to respond to RFP H92222-10-R-0018?

At this time, the Program does not anticipate extending the proposal due date.

51. Would the Government consider removing the “discussion regarding the items in paragraphs

2.1.1.1 thru 2.1.1.4” from the SOW requirement and have the contractor address the paragraphs separately under Factor 1: Technical Proposal?

Granted. Remove “discussion”

52. 4.1.4.2.3 “The T-1 Module shall have the capability to monitor casualty vital signs to include blood pressure (T), oxygen saturation (T) cardiac output (T)…….”

With regards to the thresholds and/or objectives for the duration of continuous operation for:

A1.1 Monitor A1.2 Pump I.V.

A1.4 Fluid Warming Device A1.5 Ventilator

May 3, 2010

53. There are conflicting statements within the performance matrix and performance specifications which document takes precedence in the event of conflict? For example:

4.1.5.2 Sustainment module performance specification calls for 24 hour sustainment whereas performance matrix calls for 4 hours. Please advise.

Reference page 4 of 23 in the Performance Specification. 2.3 Order of precedence; The P-spec takes precedence in all events.

54. Will Government accept PDF V. 5 and up submissions in lieu of Microsoft format?

No, it may or will cause software issues.
