About this file
Form 3: Immigration Certification is a mandatory compliance document required by Collier County's Procurement Services Division for all vendors submitting proposals and bids on County contracts. This certification form requires vendors to provide evidence of enrollment in the E-Verify program, operated by the Department of Homeland Security in partnership with the Social Security Administration, at the time of proposal submission. Acceptable documentation includes a copy of the E-Verify Company Profile page or a fully executed E-Verify Memorandum of Understanding. Failure to submit proof of E-Verify enrollment will result in the vendor's submission being deemed non-responsive and ineligible for award consideration.
The form requires vendors to attest under penalties of perjury that they are fully compliant with all applicable immigration laws, including the 1986 Immigration Act and its amendments, as well as Florida Statutes 448.095. Vendors must agree to comply with E-Verify's Memorandum of Understanding and acknowledge that Collier County will not intentionally award contracts to vendors who knowingly employ unauthorized alien workers in violation of Section 1324a(e) of the Immigration and Nationality Act. Employment of unauthorized aliens constitutes grounds for unilateral contract termination by the County. The certification must be signed by a duly authorized corporate representative with signature authority, including the company name, date, signature, and title of the signatory.
