Key Personnel and Qualifications (attachment)
• Project Manager: Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering plus fifteen (15) years experience in environmental remediation or no bachelor’s degree but twenty (20) years experience in environmental remediation. Experience as project manager for at least three radiological soil cleanup projects. 40-hr. OSHA HAZWOPER training.
• Health Physicist: Bachelor’s degree in radiation-related field such as physics or nuclear engineering or bachelor’s degree in science or engineering coupled with formal training and job experience in radiation health and safety. Experience as a health physicist on at least three soil cleanup projects. Experience applying MARSSIM to soil cleanup projects. Experience obtaining unrestricted radiological release from CDPH. Experience selecting appropriate radiation data collection and analysis methods and interpreting radiological data, data reviews, quality checks.
• Program Health and Safety Manager: Education and/or certification in industrial health or other safety related discipline. Experience as health and safety manager for at least three soil cleanup projects. Experience on at least one excavation project. 40-hr. OSHA
HAZWOPER training.
• Superintendent for Construction: Fifteen (15) years’ experience managing construction or renovation of large commercial buildings such as warehouses and aircraft hangars.
Experience working on renovation or construction projects involving preservation and protection of existing structures. Experience using the specific technical approach proposed for Building 690.
• Chemist: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry plus ten (10) years’ experience as a chemist on environmental cleanup projects or bachelor’s degree in science or engineering plus fifteen (15) years’ experience as a chemist on environmental cleanup projects.
• Program QA/QC: PE licensed in California or a state with a reciprocity agreement with
California or no license but a bachelor’s degree in engineering plus fifteen (15) years’ experience in construction of large commercial buildings such as warehouses or aircraft hangars. Ten (10) years’ experience inspecting construction of large commercial buildings. Ten (10) years’ experience reviewing designs and specifications for construction of large commercial buildings. Experience as a construction QA/QC manager, project manager, or construction manager on three soil cleanups, at least one of which must be a radiological cleanup. Must have been construction QA/QC manager at least one of those projects.
