Questions/Answers:
1. Wan ng to make sure you are OK with moun ng the light fixtures for the aisle ligh ng on the mobile aisle system(s) on a single beam at the top of the upright frames. This is standard when using pallet rack on a mobile system with aisle ligh ng, but it does reduce OH access on the top level of rack affected.
Yes, a mounting the light fixtures on a single beam at the top of the upright frames on the mobile aisle is acceptable.
2. RE: Dunnage for “463L” pallet rack – App F – 3.2.1. men ons “(3) pieces of dunnage (if applicable)” There are no other dimensional requirements or actual request to provide – is dunnage part of the quote? Or is this GFE?
Dunnage is not required for this project.
3. Ques on on the mini mezz configura ons –
“Modular cabinet detail is showing (2) configura ons – “G” with 8 drawers, and “H” with 6 drawers – both showing OH shelf units.
View A & B are showing the lower-level cabinets W/O shelf units other than the (4) per mezz at the staircases – and both show 9 drawers in the cabinets.
Can you confirm how you are wan ng this laid out? Which cabinets are on the floor, and which are stacked?
3.2.1.5.7. drawer configura on shows a total of 104 type “G” & 34 type “H” – which isn’t making sense either”.
All upper-level cabinets and the two lower-level cabinets at each staircase will have overhead cabinets, hence only 54 cabinets. As stated in Appendix D section 3.2.2. “Placement of modular cabinet types by drawer configuration into the mini-mezzanine systems shall be determined by base personnel at the Post Award Technical Information Meeting (PATIM).” Quantity of modular cabinets required is stated in section 3.2.1.5.7.
