About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding Solicitation Number FA860119QA103 for Systems, Executive, and Lounge Furniture and Chairs for the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Bidders had questions about file formats, quantities, pricing structures, and product specifications. The agency provided clarification that all relevant files are available on FBO, quantities are listed in the Statement of Work, single unit pricing should be provided per CLIN rather than separating items, and modesty panel requirements are specified in certain CLINs. Amendments were issued to update the Statement of Work, add this Q&A document, and replace CAD files with updated versions. The pre-bid Q&A and amendments provide bidders the information necessary to understand requirements and submit a responsive proposal by the solicitation closing date.

SUBJECT: Response to Inquiries regarding FA8601-19-Q-A103
QUESTIONS
1. QUESTION: Can you provide CAD plans that include the general furniture layouts?
What was provided appears to be the reflected ceiling plans. AutoCAD reference files are missing.
ANSWER: All files have been uploaded to FBO and can be found on the tabs to the left of the screen or at the top under the label PACKAGES.
2. QUESTION: The pricing sheet for the CLIN’s does not appear to have quantities correctly listed – are we to update the quantities based on the drawing or use the quantities noted by floor on the solicitation document? And will the new CAD file with furniture have the CLINs listed?
ANSWER: The quantities of all items are included in the Statement of Work. The quantity on the CLIN breakdown is 1 LOT because there are multiple items being delivered under the CLIN.
3. QUESTION: In addition, the pricing sheet does not designate whether a CLIN requires a base infeed vs. a power pole. For instance if CLIN 008 shows a quantity of 3, but based on drawings (2) are fed by base infeed and (1) is by power pole, providing a unit price for the entire CLIN 008 will not work. How should we address unit pricing for the difference between an infeed and a power pole on a single CLIN?
ANSWER: There is no need to address individual unit pricing. One price for the entire CLIN (sum of 2 base infeed and 1 power pole) should be quoted.
4. QUESTION: With the height of the storage tower acceptable at 50H, would a 50H panel be acceptable to match the height of the tower?
ANSWER: No. The requested panel height is 54” with a range of +/- 3”.
5. QUESTION: An Electrical Circuit Layout is needed for an accurate quote (each floor). It is not included in our SOW information, attachments, or files.
ANSWER: Power Plans, Reflected Celling, and Lighting Plans in PDF format were posted on www.fbo.gov 23 Sept 2019 for floors 1, 2, and 3.
6. QUESTION: Architectural Reference Files are needed for each floor.
ANSWER: It appears the X-Ref files are not bound to the AutoCAD drawings that were posted on FBO. The AutoCAD drawings will be reposted.
7. QUESTION: For the PEO's (CLIN 0025-0030): No modesty panels are called-out in
SOW, thus not included in our quote. Some of the PEO Desks have an exposed front. Are there any PEO CLIN's that we should include modesty panels?
ANSWER: CLINS 0025-0031 call out the requirements for desk, return, and credenza modesty panel heights.
8. QUESTION: CLIN 0026 PEO: the drawing is different than the written specs. Desk and return had conflicting sizes. We are using written spec for basis.
ANSWER: The SOW is correct for CLIN 0026. Furniture CLIN tags for Private Offices 307 and 308 were not appearing on the drawing or shifted. See attached PDF of Office 307 and 308 which shows the correct CLIN tags.
