QUESTIONS
1. QUESTION: Can you please advise if GSA pricing is required or is Open Market pricing and product selection acceptable?
ANSWER: This solicitation will result in an award using LPTA, lowest price technically acceptable. The lowest priced proposal that meets all of the requirements in the statement of work will win the award. This is posted on FBO and open market items are acceptable. Pricing is up to you.
2. QUESTION: Did you have a product warranty in mind for the product specs?
ANSWER: For systems furniture, it is requested for a 10-year product warranty (excluding fabrics and lighting), unless specified differently in the SOW (see pg 3 of SOW). For wood office furniture, Limited Lifetime Warranty is requested (see pg 15 of
SOW).
3. QUESTION: Is there a basis of design (vendor or series) being used for the following items? CLIN 022 Modular Walls and CLINs 025-032 Private Offices & Reception
ANSWER: The basis of design has been updated for requested CLINs in the Statement of Work dated 12 September 2019. The basis of design is not restricted to the stated manufacturers.
4. QUESTION: Section 3.4.4 notes 3 phases, is this project to be phased?
ANSWER: No, this is an oversight. One delivery, no phases. Updated Statement of Work has been posted to reflect this change on 13 September 2019.
5. QUESTION: We noticed there is an amendment 1 of the solicitation document. Do you have an overview of amendment 1?
ANSWER: Amendment 1 was posted on 11 September 2019 to update the Statement of Work regarding the site visit in 3.2.26 to remove the requirement of bringing construction safety gear to the site visit, as construction has not begun.
6. QUESTION: For the walk thru on Monday, do you need names of those planning to attend?
ANSWER: No, since this is an off-site location, base access is not necessary.
7. QUESTION: Small business set aside, are you allowing a small business to support a non-small business?
ANSWER: This is not a small business set-aside.
Overview of Amendments
1. Update Statement of Work to remove the requirements for safety attire at site visit.
2. Update the Statement of Work to reflect questions in this Q & A. Also to update an error in Attachment 5 – CLIN Typicals 0001-0012 where CLIN 0007 and 0009 reflected a 12” glass stack instead of a 12” fabric stack.
