1) Will the three 70 inch monitors all be playing the same video? Or, will they be playing a synchronized three screen presentation?

RESPONSE: They should be set up to play either synchronous presentations or separate presentations.

(2) Are we correct to assume a wireless microphone will be needed?

RESPONSE: Yes, a wireless microphone will be required.

(3) Will internet access be needed for the any visiting presenters, if so will that be provided by the venue?

RESPONSE: The Museum has not yet performed a capability study, but equipment should be configured to accept future internet access, to be provided by the Museum.

(4) Will there be an area where we could place a small equipment rack to house the AV equipment for the presentation?

RESPONSE: Yes, storage for all equipment should be provided in the STEM Learning Node design.

(5) Will any kind of control system be needed to turn the system on or off according to a schedule?

RESPONSE: Yes, a control system will be required to perform timing and other control functions.

(6) Are we correct to assume accommodations would be needed to allow a visiting laptop to be displayed on the three LCD panels?

RESPONSE: Yes, a “visiting” laptop will occasionally need to be accommodated.

(7) How often will this exhibit be moved? Will the AV contractor be expected to provide labor for the moves, if so, how many moves?

RESPONSE: The exhibit should have to be moved only once, to a new building, and this move will be performed by the Museum. Sufficient detail should be provided in documentation for the Museum to perform the move.
