About this file

This document contains a question and answer session and a federal contract opportunity notice. The question and answer session addresses whether a company can be awarded both Group A and act as a teaming partner for Group B, confirming the solicitation attachments, and recommending vendors review information prior to the pre-proposal conference and proposal submission. The federal contract opportunity notice is for ground power modernization requirements, including 72kW and 144kW ground power units and a 144kW universal load bank. The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Robins Air Force Base intends to issue a request for proposal for fixed-price and cost-reimbursement contracts with a period of performance of ten years, consisting of a three-year basic period and seven one-year ordering periods. Group A will be full and open competition for all three end items, while Group B for the 72kW ground power unit will be set aside for small businesses. The anticipated release of the RFP is 15 October 2021 and award date is 26 September 2022.
