About this file
This document includes a pre-proposal conference follow-up notice and information on an upcoming federal contract opportunity for ground power equipment. The pre-proposal conference follow-up provides a recording of the conference for request, answers to questions asked, and seeks industry input on potential supply chain impacts.
The federal contract opportunity will be for 72kW and 144kW Ground Power Units and a 144kW Universal Load Bank to provide power to Air Force aircraft. The solicitation is expected to be released on October 15, 2021 with award by September 26, 2022. The Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity multiple award contracts will have a basic three-year period and seven one-year ordering periods, to be conducted in two ordering periods. Small business set asides are planned, with the 72kW GPU as a total small business set aside. Proposals are due in response to a formal RFP and will be evaluated for technical acceptability and performance versus price.
