RFI #1
1. In the demonstration Project attachment 1, specifications, page 3 of 4, paragraph 5 “CONSTRUCTION DURATION”, provides project durations, but the written out durations do not match the numerical durations, and the math doesn’t seem to workout either. Can clarification be provided on the project’s durations?
Answer: The total project duration is 129 days. Please see UHHZ 130375 Revision 2 for specific changes.
2. On pages 6 & 7 of the solicitation, there is the table of CLINs, items 0001, 1001, 2001, 3001, 4001, & 5001. These CLINs have blanks for dollar values, but do not seem to have any instructions for filling them out, and appear to be informative and not a price schedule for the bidder to fill out. Can the Gov confirm that the bidder does not have to provide any values for this table?
Answer: The bidder does not have to provide any values for the table of CLINs. They are informational.
3. Section M of the solicitation says that bidders are to use Demonstration Project Attachments #1, 2, 3 and 4 in the list of attachments to submit their bid. In addition to these Demonstration Project Attachments, we assume the 1442 needs to be included, but there does not appear to be a place within the 1442 to include a price, is this correct?
Answer: A price does not need to be on the SF 1442. The only place a price will be required is the bid schedule document. Only a signature is required on the SF 1442.
4. What information do you need for our attendees (for the site visit); is it just full name as it appears on their ID? Or do you need company name, etc?
Answer:
1. Alphabetized names of each visitor (Last, First, Middle)
1. Date of Birth for every visitor (YYYYMMDD)
1. Child (Y/N)
1. Gender (M/F)
1. Social Security Number (XXX-XX-XXXX)
5. Are there any “instructions to Bidders” as far as what you are looking for on submission of the proposals? Or submit per the SF 1442?
-submit via email? Or hard copy?
-price, breakdown or lump sum?
-Volumes?
-How many pages the proposal needs to be?
Answer:
Please submit IAW the SF 1442 instructions. Please use the Bid Schedule, Bid Bonds, signed SF 1442 (acknowledging any amendments if applicable).
Email submissions will not be accepted. You can submit a bid via mail or a hard copy per Solicitation.
6. Are there other instructions related to Sections L and M not included in the document attached? Specifically looking for format, qualifications, experience requirements etc?
Answer: No, there are no further instructions for Sections L and M.
7. What will the position be on encrypted email to communicate?
Answer: Please do not send encrypted email.
8. What is the anticipated magnitude of construction for the Seed Project?
Answer: You will find Project Magnitude in Section B, two pages down, and it is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00.
