FA7000-18-Q-0003 Questions and Answers - 11 February 2019 Q: Is it necessary to add the 6-month extension on every CLIN as shown in the Pricing Schedule Worksheet, to calculate the Total Evaluated Price for this effort?
The Federal Acquisition Regulation, part 17.206 requires the Government to evaluate offers for any option periods contained in a solicitation when it has been determined prior to soliciting offers the Government is likely to exercise the option. In accordance with solicitation FA700018Q0003, Addendum to FAR 52.212-2, every quote received will be evaluated using the total evaluated price. Every CLIN on the purchase order could be extended in accordance with the option to extend services; therefore, each CLIN will be evaluated for the extension.
Q: Can pricing for the option to disassemble, move and store the Catholic Chapel pews be included in other CLINs (not separately priced), with an option to reduce prices if the Government decides not to remove the pews?
In accordance with solicitation FA700018Q0003, Addendum to FAR 52.212-2, quotes will be reviewed to ensure they meet the solicitation criteria as outlined in the Addendum to FAR 52.212-1. Addendum to 52.212-1 states: “Failure to meet all of the instructions may result in a quote being determined ineligible for award. It is the quoter’s responsibility to ensure their quote meets all the requirements of this solicitation. Alternative quotes will not be accepted.”
