The C/KC‐135 Teardown Plan and a response to Q&As indicates that the govt expects that the Lap Joint/CPC Evaluation and Failure Analysis teardown efforts will occur in the CAStLE lab by CAStLE staff. Will these CAStLE staff be paid by contractor funds as part of this contract's teardown tasks?
CAStLE government staff will not perform these tasks. The contractor will perform these tasks under the contract resulting from FA7000‐09‐R‐ 0059 at the United States Air Force Academy in the CAStLE facilities.

Does the gov't expect CAStLE to be able to handle the volume of analyses required in the Lap Joint/CPC Evaluation and Failure Analysis teardown efforts within the expected period of performance for the teardown task orders?
The FA7000‐09‐R‐0059 contractor is responsible for staffing appropriately to accommodate the scope of work detailed in the respective task orders within the specified period of performance.

May the contractor use its or a subcontractor's facility to accomplish the LapJoint/CPC Evaluation and Failure Analysis teardown efforts in order to complete them within the expected period of performance for the teardown task orders?

Are the 10 on‐site contractor engineers and 2 on‐site contractor laboratory technicians required per the task orders in addition to the currently existing contractor personnel at CAStLE?
See answer to question #25 above.
27 14Oct2009 FA7000‐ 09‐R‐
