According to Site Visit of Multiplex buildings, the steel panel cover was installed on both 1st floor and 2nd floor. However, the detail information such as size, required location of the steel panel cover is not indicated on the drawings and Specification.
Please clarify that the following assumptions for the steel panel cover is correct or not.
1) Material, Fabrication and Installation Factory fabricated/baked enamel finish coat to steel plate cover with steel angle sub‐frame.
On site work is just fixing sub‐frame and steel panel cover only by screwing.
No welding and cutting on site is required. Each panel will be fixed by screw and panel joint should be sealed up by sealant. Also panel cover should be removable for future maintenance. Prior survey to each unit is required to determine the actual size of the steel panel cover for fabrication in factory.
2) Required location to be installed Basically beside all indoor units 1/F : Cover all refrigerant, CD pipes and electrical cables/wires from ceiling to indoor unit.
2/F : From floor to ceiling, approx. 2400mm height.
All pipes, cables and wires between steel panel cover and indoor unit should be covered by plastic refrigerant pipe cover and properly sealed up all the gaps by sealant.
3) Others All penetration holes from exterior wall or slab must be properly sealed up.
Concur. Add typical detail for steel cover for refrigerantion pipe of Air conditioning system and vertical steel cover is located two srory building @ room corner nearby exterior wall.

49 Pre‐proposal Conference Minutes & Record of Site Visit
(1) Information to Offerors
According to (1) Information to Offerors in the Pre‐proposal Conference Minutes & Record of Site Visit issued on 21 April 2015, Ground‐Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCI) Outlets are required for both indoor and outdoor unit IAW National Electrical Code (NEC) requirement. However, the meaning of “outlet” is not clear. Does “GFCI outlet” mean “GFCI receptacle” or “Circuit Breaker” or “Disconnect Switch”? Please clarify the meaning
GFCI outlet is GFCI receptacle. But, GFCI is also used for circuit breaker in addition to outlet to de‐energize the circuit. Since GFCI outlet or circuit is adopted by capacity of the equipment or configuration of the wiring, this meaning apply to both of outlet and circuit breaker. This is not apply to Disconnect Switch.

52 Drawings 1A‐A‐503 (Sheet page 071) 1B‐A‐502 (Sheet page 058)
During site visit, we have found that there are several window sill conditions on sites. Taking this inconsistent site condition into our consideration, we have prepared attached proposal for your consideration.
As mentioned, there are two type of existing window system, one is double layer of alum. window system and others is single layer of alum. window plus plastic window installed into the adjacent wooden trim. According to our survey on site, the minimum width of the existing window trim is less than 30mm. IAW drawing 1A‐A‐503, the additional trim is fixed to the existing trim to receive the new plastic window frame. However, we consider that this method will be insufficient to receive the loading of the new plastic window frame and new insulated glass and the existing wooden trim should be removed and replaced with new wider wooden trim. In addition, the existing wooden trim fixed to the ceiling for curtain rail fixing and blind fixing should be also replaced. For this work, the existing gypsum wall board at wall and ceiling should be partially cut/removed and restored.
It is not recommendable to have such dusty and messy work in occupied units. Our proposal will not involve any work to the existing gypsum board at wall and ceiling.
Please examine our proposal carefully and advise whether our proposal is acceptable or not.
CE has checked no plastic extention attachment is no longer using because their wood trim is larger than 70mm for plastic IGU, and Aluminum window trim is small so that the detail is revised to add new 70x30mm (40x30mm for 1B Type 2) wood trim with wood support to sill to nail to wall furring.
A‐503 sectional and plan details for the window trim are revised to 2 types of conditions, however, the bidders shall estimate all windows are small Aluminum trim to add the wood trim intallation.
53 Specs. 08 87 13 para. 2.2 Spec. 08 87 13 para. 2.2 indicates that “Minimum thickness of sun control film to be 2.0 mil (50micron).”
In Attachment 9 for Catalogue Cut, two types of films have been indicated.
Nano 80s, which has 76 micron thickness, and Neutral 70 (marked by red), which has 45micron thickness. We assume that this red color making means that Natural 70 is acceptable and considered to meet the contract requirement. Please advise.
Spec section paragraph is revised to 45 micron.

55 Specs. 02 41 00 para.3.1.2 Specs indicates that “Finished surfaces of patched area shall be flush with the adjacent existing surface and shall match the existing adjacent surface as closely as possible as to texture and finish.” According to our past experiences and survey on Site Visit held on 21 Apr. 2015, painting color, texture and gross for wall and ceiling in residential units are inconsistent.
Based on the said condition, we consider that the color matching with the existing surrounding area at wall and ceiling paint will be nearly impossible.
Therefore, please indicate the color code or product number of painting material, which is normally used by Housing Maintenance, for the use of patch‐up painting by the contractor. Then all patch‐up paint will be dene by designated color. Is this procedure acceptable?
No.
Since each building exterior/interior color may not be the same due to the fading.
New paint color designated will not match to the surface, therefore the painter shall mix the color to match.
56 Specs. 02 41 00 para.3.2.2 Specs indicates that “Concrete, Masonry and Noncombustible materials shall be disposed of in the disposal Area.”
Please let us know the location of disposal area, if possible. In case, disposal area is not available, can we assume that these wastes shall be removed/disposed to off‐base approved disposal area by contractor’s expense.
This paragraph intention is "removed/disposed to off‐base approved disposal area by contractor’s expense".
