Questions & Answers
Q59. Will the Air Force provide sponsorship for the contractor at RAF Feltwell, UK and Thule
AFS or any site that may require sponsorship?
A59. Not exactly sure what your definition of "sponsorship" in term so of this questions. A
Logistics Support Clause will be included in the TO for Feltwell that provides Base privileges.
However, employees are not "Part of the Forces" for taxation purposes. Still working the question for Thule.
Q60. Question 39 that was answered and posted today states: Current approach is that all functions remain as they are currently handled….. Are the scheduling functions at the ALC currently contractor operated?
A60. None of the Scheduling functions are currently contracted at the ALCs.
Q61. Question 53 that was answered and posted today states: As previously stated, functions are not changing as part of this acquisition. Is the HAZMAT function be done by the contractor at each ALC?
A61. Proposals should include a user approach to Hazardous Material function for all locations.
Q62. Given that Thule has neither a WD or CBA to assist in present state bidding ,would it be possible to get the current cost for the Thule Contract?
A62. Thule is part of a larger complex contract number FA2517-06-C-8001 that was awarded for
$509M. It is not possible for us to break down that cost to a PMEL only figure.
Q63. Is it possible to do a Terminal Service Secession from a government computer? Or does this require a special access?
A63. It requires a special access that the contractors will not be provided.
Q64. Due to the release timing of Amendment 0002, has the proposal due date has been moved back from August 1, to July 29.
A64. Incorrect - IAW Amendment 0001 and the FBO announcement - proposals are due 1 Aug
13.
