STATEMENT OF WORK
MULTIPLE AWARD TASK ORDER CONTRACT (MATOC)
ORIENTATION SEMINAR
TASK ORDER 0001
7 Jan 2014
1. Objective
This Statement of Work describes the requirements for the Contractor to attend and participate in a one day MATOC Orientation
Seminar. The seminar will be held at Fairchild AFB, WA. The contractor will attend the conference and submit required deliverables detailed below. Some of the topics covered in the orientation include identification of base security requirements, a tour of base facilities, relationships-partnering, design/build specific requirements and expectations, and construction management. Results of the seminar are expected to set the framework for solid partnering, increased base familiarity, and clarification of processes/perspectives.
The seminar is not intended to discuss or change contract requirements.
2. Scope
The Contractor shall attend and participate in the MATOC Orientation Seminar at Fairchild AFB, WA. This conference is intended as an orientation to the MATOC program for Fairchild AFB and is expected to be an eight hour event. The seminar shall provide a program overview covering several topics, including the following items:
Base security requirements. Forms will be provided and time will be scheduled with Security Forces to process required security data.
Tour of the base.
Architectural scheme for base.
Design requirements and expectations.
Project management
Task order process
Project funding process and end of year
Quality control and quality assurance
Long-term relationship
Green procurement
Construction management processes
The orientation seminar will be conducted in an open communications environment. Cross flow of information and ideas is paramount to the seminar’s success. Exact date and time for this conference will be scheduled after basic contract award.
3. Taskings and Deliverables
The contractor’s program manager shall, as a minimum, attend the seminar. It is highly encouraged that other key team members attend that are intimately involved with contract administration, design/build, superintendence, quality control, construction management and program/project management.
The contractor shall deliver one copy of seminar attendees with their contact information, name, social security number, date of birth for base access and no more than 3 questions, issues, or concerns to the 92 Contracting Squadron prior to the seminar. The Government will endeavor to address all inquiries received from the contractors.
Contractor shall furnish a Green Procurement Plan and Quality Control Plan in compliance with contract specifications with attached AF Form 3000 for review and approval.
4. Submit deliverables prior to the scheduled seminar date to:
