About this file
This is a Post Site Questions and Answers document for federal contract FA461326Q0007 issued by the 90th Contracting Squadron. The contract concerns the replacement of 1,665 fire suppression sprinkler heads and pendants at 15 Military Airlift Force Stations (MAFS).
The document addresses four key questions from potential contractors. Regarding inspection documentation, the government clarified that no previous inspection reports for fire alarms are available. For the Consilium CFD500 software update referenced in the Performance Work Statement Section 1, contractors must obtain the updated software directly from the manufacturer. No pre-solicitation clearances are required; however, contractors must request drawings and refer to all attachments to avoid being deemed technically unacceptable due to incomplete project scope understanding. Finally, the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) make and models are specified in the PWS, with one of each type of FACP installed at the locations. Each FACP is connected to a fire water pump and alarm systems, and contractors may coordinate onsite visits to gather additional device information as needed.

Question Government Response
1. Requesting previous inspection reports for the fire alarms for these locations.
We do not have any inspection documentation.
2. . Requesting contact information regarding the Consilium CFD500 software update that is required in the PWS Section 1 Overview, subsection ii.
The updated software will need to be obtained from the Manufacturer.
3. Are there any pre-qualifications to fill out for this project.
There is no pre-solicitation clearances except that if you do not ask for the drawings and refer to the attachments you could be deemed technically unacceptable because you do not have the full scope of the project.
4. Requesting a list of the make/models of the panels and number of devices tied to them for each location? Or is there time we can have our team get that information onsite?
The make and model of the FACP is listed in the PWS.
There is one of each type of FACP. The FACP is connected to a fire water pump and the alarms.
