A&MT CLIN Structure
Private Pilot Course (PPC): PPC shall be trained IAW with FAA Standards and consist of a minimum of 24.0 hour ground school, 58.0 aircraft flight hours, including solo, and culminate with a successful FAA PPC Flight Evaluation using Aircraft listed in Appendix A.
Instrument Rating Course (IR): The IR course shall be trained IAW FAA Standards and consist of a minimum of 26.0 hours ground school, 20.4 hours simulator time and 31.6 aircraft flight hours, culminating in a successful FAA Instrument Flight Evaluation using Aircraft listed in Appendix A.
Multi-Engine Pilot Course: Multi-Engine Pilot Course shall result in FAA Commercial Multi-Engine Certification, conform to FAA Standards and consist of a minimum of 14.0 hours ground school, 16.0 aircraft flight hours, and 64.0 simulator flight hours using aircraft categories identified on Appendix A.
Multi-Engine Turbo Prop or Rotor Wing Course: Multi-Engine Turbo Prop or Rotor Wing courses will include a minimum of 32 hours of Flight Instruction, 20 hours of aircraft flight time and 60 hours of ground school using aircraft identified on the Aircraft Category list at Appendix A.
Initial Training Course: Initial Training shall provide skills to independently operate aircraft systems, subsystems, and related support equipment using aircraft identified on the Aircraft Category list at Appendix A.
Recurrent Training Course: Recurrent Training shall include academics, simulator and/or aircraft hours to provide the student a review of normal and emergency operational limits of the aircraft, systems and sub-systems, and procedures using aircraft identified on the Aircraft Category list at Appendix A.
Seasoning/Advanced Training Course: Seasoning training is post-initial qualification training, that is mission-oriented to include, but not limited to, Instrument, )Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), Short Field Landings, and as requested in the individual TO, using aircraft identified on the Aircraft Category list at Appendix A.
Basic Maintenance Courses:
Basic courses to provide but not limited to basic academic and maintenance training skills in power plant, airframe, and aircraft systems. Basic courses should allow students to successfully complete basic maintenance on various aircraft types. The training shall be accomplished in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) technical guidance. Students should be able to perform all facets of aircraft maintenance and repair to FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications.
Intermediate Maintenance Courses:
Intermediate courses to provide but not limited to intermediate academic and maintenance training skills in power plant, airframe, and aircraft systems. Intermediate courses should allow students to successfully complete intermediate maintenance on various aircraft types. The training shall be accomplished in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) technical guidance. Students should be able to perform all facets of aircraft maintenance and repair to FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications.
Advanced Maintenance Courses:
Advanced courses to provide but not limited to basic academic and maintenance training skills in power plant, airframe, and aircraft systems.
Advanced courses should allow students to successfully complete Advance maintenance on various aircraft types. The training shall be accomplished in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) technical guidance. Students should be able to perform all facets of aircraft maintenance and repair to FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications.
OCONUS Maintenance Training Costs:
OCONUS training is performed at the host nation site using host nation supplied equipment. The training requirements will be spelled out at the TO level.
OCONUS training includes all training identified on individual TOs, and travel costs with the exception of labor for contractor personnel in support of the contract.
Costs under this CLIN include but are not limited to the following items:
Travel costs/airline fees Car Rental Per Diem or reasonable/actual expenses Hardship/Hazard Pay Excess baggage fees if authorized Physical exams and shots required for travel Visas Domestic Service Premiums Training Aids/Supplies Lease Termination Costs, Penalties, Forfeiture Payments or Sublet Costs Home Maintenance Expenses DBA Insurance
Housing (Days) Rate: Housing for students attending CONUS training, as specified in the individual TO.
Transportation (Days) Rate: Contractor shall provide or arrange air and ground/support transportation, as specified in the individual TOs.
Medical Testing (Actual Cost) (CR): Provides for medical testing required to entry/departure training
