Text version

In accordance with the 1962 Aide Memoire (a supplement to the 1951 International Defense of Greenland Agreement) between the US and The Kingdom of Denmark The United States Government is required contracted support for services to be awarded to Danish (to include Greenlandic) firms using Danish, or US employees. For the Thule AB Base Maintenance Contract, contractors have requested a definition of what constitutes a “Danish Firm”. The 21st Contracting Squadron/Detachment 1is awaiting written guidance from the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) on the criteria that would allow a firm to be classified as "Danish or Greenlandic". Once this criteria has been established and received, a notice will be posted on this site. This criteria, once established, will be contained in the draft RFP (and subsequent RFP documents) scheduled to be released in June 2013.
