PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: This is NOT a request for proposal. The 45th Contracting
Squadron, Patrick AFB, FL announces the anticipated release of the solicitation
FA252120R0009 for the Space Coast Multiple Award Construction Contract (SCMACC) at
Patrick Air Force Base, in support of the 45th Space Wing, Naval Ordinance Test Unit (NOTU), Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC), National Aeronautics and Space
Administration (NASA), and all other tenant units located at Cape Canaveral AFS, FL and
Patrick AFB, FL. This contract will also be available for use to the 6th Contracting Squadron (6
CONS), MacDill AFB, FL should the need arise for rapid base restoration of existing infrastructure. This is an acquisition for a competitive multiple award, Indefinite-Delivery
Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) for various projects that will be competitively awarded via individual task orders. The SCMACC will provide a means for the execution of a broad range of maintenance, repair, and minor construction requirements under a design, design/build, design/bid/build, or just-build projects. During the contract period, the Base Civil Engineer
(BCE) will identify construction tasks required to complete each specific job and the
45th Contracting Squadron will negotiate and issue individual task orders to the contractor. The contractor will furnish all materials, equipment, and personnel necessary to manage and accomplish multiple projects. The duration of this contract will consist of a 2-year base ordering period, eight, 1-year option ordering periods, and a 6-month extension of services option period, if necessary, with an anticipated contract award date of Feb 21. The anticipated solicitation release date is 29 May 2020. The maximum ceiling established for this acquisition is $750M.
Funding will be added at the TO level by each requiring organization. The government intends to award up to ten SCMACC IDIQ contracts; however, the government reserves the right to award less than the intended ten contracts or no contracts at all, if determined to be in the best interest of the government.
This acquisition is a 100% Small Business (SB) set-aside. Interested parties should register online and subscribe to receiving procurement announcements related to this solicitation by entering the website at www.beta.SAM.gov. There will be no paper copies on this solicitation.
