About this file
This is a Cost Component exhibit for a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the City/County of Denver for comprehensive telecommunications services. The document specifies that offerors must complete and return this cost component section for services in designated service areas, including intrastate (intralata) and/or interstate (interlata) offerings. The RFP encompasses three primary service categories: Category I Voice Services, Category II Conferencing Services, and Category III Digital Subscriber Line Services. Offerors are required to provide detailed pricing structures and cannot adjust or modify the format of this section without risking disqualification from award consideration.
Category I Voice Services pricing requirements include operator services charges, foreign language translation services (with the state preferring no charges), inbound toll-free services with pricing structures based on time of day and day of week, directory assistance costs, billing media charges, management reports, and dedicated circuit costs (currently provided at no charge, which the state prefers). Offerors must also provide comprehensive rate tables for interstate and intrastate long-distance services, including standard business day rates, fractional increment pricing, subsequent increment costs, and discounts for evening, weekend, and other time periods. The document requires detailed international long distance pricing for over 100 countries, with the first 23 countries (from the UK through Turkey) representing 80 percent of current international volume and receiving additional evaluation consideration. Additional pricing components include calling card program structures, PIC/LPIC conversion credits (with unlimited credits being the preferred option), conferencing services, and Digital Subscriber Line services pricing. The state emphasizes that it conducts most calling during normal work weeks with minimal weekend and holiday usage, and strongly prefers that the selected offeror assume all PIC/LPIC conversion charges.
