About this file
This is a Prevailing Wage Determination issued by the State of Maryland Department of Labor, Division of Labor and Industry, for project PJ-610-230-001 located in Anne Arundel County. The project encompasses phased renovation of an existing duty office (approximately 5,288 gross square feet, single-story structure), demolition of an existing garage building, and construction of a new Maintenance Garage at Barrack J of the Maryland State Police. The determination was issued on December 10, 2025, and identifies mandatory prevailing wage rates applicable to all laborers and mechanics employed on the project. The determination is effective through June 2, 2026.
The prevailing wage rates are established under Maryland State Finance and Procurement Article Section 17-201 through 17-226 and are mandatory for the successful bidder and all subcontractors. The determination specifies hourly rates and fringe benefit payments for 72 distinct job classifications, ranging from laborers and equipment operators to skilled trades including electricians, plumbers, carpenters, ironworkers, and roofers. Wage rates vary by classification, with basic hourly rates ranging from $17.00 to $52.71 and fringe benefit payments from $2.24 to $26.64. The prevailing wage rates were derived from the 2025 locality survey for Anne Arundel County. Contractors requiring additional prevailing wage rate classifications beyond those listed may contact the Prevailing Wage Unit at (410) 767-2342 or prevailingwage@dllr.state.md.us.
