About this file
This document is Addendum #4 to Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. 304T-24-070M1 issued by the Texas Statewide Procurement Division for Fleet Trucks, Automobiles, and Law Enforcement Vehicles. The addendum provides clarification on the pricing sheets, noting that respondents should only list the base model and that additional configurations and options are considered part of the base model bid. It also confirms that separate price sheets are not required for each configuration. The contract opportunity is open to Texas state and local agencies, including Travis County and the City of Austin.
The pricing structure involves a Contractor's Constant bid that applies to all OEM-supplied configurations and options. The contract will be awarded by vehicle series, with a limited number of awards per OEM and series. No other significant details about pricing, funding, set-asides, or incumbents are provided in this addendum.

Questions and Answers IFB No. 304T-24-070M1 Title:
Question No. Question Answer
Are we able to add additional models that there is not a space for on the bid? If so, where do we add them? They should be covered in this scope of work - I am referring to SUVs - Explorer, Escape and Expedition specifically. I see that there is a Crossover/SUV section on the Law Enforcement bid, but not on the People Movers.
Models bid must meet the specification for the series bid. On the PEOPLEMOVERS price sheet, a Crossover/SUV will fall into one of the following two series depending on interior volume:
*Crossover/Wagon - less than 135 cu ft *Full-size Crossover/SUV - 135 cu ft or more
If a Respondent represents a brand that offers more than one model that meets the series specification, both models may be bid. If this occurs, each model (not trim level or configuration) should be bid on a separate pricesheet.
Per A.15.1, CPA will award by series, not by model. Only a limited number of awards will be made per OEM, per series.
I am working on the price sheets and there are A LOT of models that there is only one space for. I read that we need to submit an additional price sheet for all those models, but I wanted to verify that is how you want it, because I am currently up to 30 price sheets just for the "People Movers," because there are 30 different body codes for Transit Cargo Vans.
See Addendum #4, Solicitation Document Changes, #1
Respondent should enter the make and model for the base vehicle bid. OEM model codes are not needed. A bid for the OEM base model is considered a bid for all available OEM configurations and options. The Contractor's Constant bid applies to all OEM-supplied configurations and options. Separate price sheets do not need to be submitted for each configuration
Example: A bid for a base model Transit Cargo Van covers all wheelbases, all drivetrain options, all roof heights, etc.
