About this file
This document is a set of plan sheets for the Eckert Road Bridges 2147 and 2148 project in Boise, Idaho, prepared for the City of Boise or relevant local jurisdiction. The project encompasses comprehensive infrastructure improvements including demolition of existing bridge structures and construction of new bridges spanning the Boise River and Ridenbaugh Canal, installation of a single-lane roundabout at the Eckert Road and Boise Avenue intersection, and reconstruction of roadway approaches. Additional scope includes a multi-use pathway along the west side of Eckert Road connecting the Boise River Greenbelt to Boise Avenue, a Greenbelt underpass beneath Eckert Road linking existing and future Greenbelt access to the Dallas Harris Legacy Walkway, and modifications to Barber Park driveway access. The plan sheets (numbered 1-65) detail roadway excavation, embankment work, pavement construction, curb and gutter installation, sidewalks, retaining walls, drainage improvements, irrigation and utility adjustments, traffic control measures, permanent signing and pavement markings, illumination, landscaping, erosion and sediment control, and environmental protection measures necessary to complete the project.
All work involving irrigation and bridge construction shall be completed in accordance with the NMID (New York Mutual Irrigation District or applicable irrigation district) Approval Letter dated July 16, 2026, as referenced in the project attachments, unless otherwise approved by the irrigation district. The plan sheets serve as the technical specifications and design documents that contractors must follow during bidding and project execution. These comprehensive design documents establish the baseline requirements for all construction activities and associated improvements required to complete the Eckert Road infrastructure project.
