ATTACHMENT 6
OUTGOING USPS AND FEDEX DISPATCH PROCESSING
General Purpose:
The contractor shall operate the after hour outgoing USPS/FedEx operations in the RFK Main Justice (MAIN), Judiciary Center Building (JCB), Two Constitution Square Building (2CON), Three Constitution Square Building (3CON), and Four Constitution Square Building (4CON) , BOND Building, 1100 L Street Building, and 1800 G Street Buildings after hours USPS/FedEx Mail Room Operations. These Mail Rooms meter and process USPS mail and FedEx from other DOJ Satellite Buildings in the Washington metropolitan area. This operation involves two distinct functions: outgoing USPS mail and FedEx.
Current Staffing Requirement:
The current Contractor provides the below part-time employees to ensure performance of the work required after hours. The following numbers reflects the current work force for estimating purposes only.

Court Run:
At 11:00pm the Contractor shall pick up Court mail from Civil Division, 1100 L Street, Room 8056A and deliver to the Federal Claims Court at 717 Madison Place, NW, placing the mail in the Night Drop box.
This task shall be completed before Midnight, at which time the boxes will be locked. See below schedule:

COURT RUN MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE THE BOX CLOSES AT 12:00AM
Mail Transport to USPS:
The first delivery of outgoing mail to the USPS Southern Maryland Station will depart Main Justice at
7:30pm. Outgoing mail that is received after 7:30pm will continue to be processed for USPS but will be metered for the following day.
FedEx Pick up:
FedEx Driver schedule for pick up from MAIN is 8:30pm. Any FedEx received after 8:30pm must be delivered to the FedEx Drop location on 419 11st Street NW. The Contractor shall ensure that all pieces are processed before closing the office at Midnight.
End of Tour of Duty:
Return to the MAIN Mailroom and ensure all metering equipment is turned off. Lock Mailroom doors upon departure.
