About this file
This document contains slides from an industry day presentation regarding a federal contract opportunity for Geographic Service Providers (GSPs). The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is seeking to standardize, organize, and provide robust IT services to support medical treatment facilities and other lines of business through the Military Health System Enterprise Information Technology Services Environment. This will be accomplished by acquiring and aligning GSP IT support services under standardized processes and procedures. The presentation provides details on the scope of services to be provided by GSPs, including local IT service desks, application and web development support, identity management, data center operations, information assurance, network operations, telecommunications, clinical informatics, and information business operations. It outlines the acquisition timeline, with contract awards anticipated in Q3 FY22. Industry questions are solicited to help define geographic areas and refine scope areas.

GSPs perform a wide variety of IT tasks and services for MTFs/OLBs spanning a defined geographic area.
GSPs in the Enterprise Information Technology Services (EITS) Environment
What is the EITS Integrator (EITSI) Role?
• Provide independent end-to-end accountability through oversight, management, coordination, and validation of IT services delivered by separately contracted Service Providers
• Provide centralized service desk and technical support through the single point of contact Global Service Center
• Establish IT operation and support processes, define measures, and provide centralized reporting and management through Service Level Agreements and Operating Level Agreements
• Pioneer DHA’s IT transformation through innovation, organizational change management, and governance structure
To maintain independence, the EITSI will not be permitted to bid on service provider efforts
Companies other than the EITSI can bid on multiple Service Provider contracts
