About this file
This document outlines procedures for on-ramping and off-ramping contractors under the Military Health System Enterprise Information Technology Services Geographic Service Provider indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity multiple award contract. The government reserves the unilateral right to off-ramp non-performing contractors through methods such as permitting contracts to expire, debarment, suspension, termination, or failing to meet performance standards or maintain competitiveness. New contractors may be on-ramped through competitive solicitations ensuring a sufficient pool of qualified contractors remain. On-ramped contractors would be subject to substantially the same terms and conditions through to the end of the original ordering period.
The related federal contract opportunity is a special notice for the MHS EITS GSP requirement currently under development by the Defense Health Agency. Responses to the initial problem statement, scope document, and list of potential facilities were due by August 9, 2021 to christopher.d.rieper.civ@mail.mil. This sam.gov posting will serve as an ongoing communication platform to provide information, solicit feedback, and respond to questions as the requirement is further defined. The response date was set to one year from now to keep the announcement active throughout the development process.
