PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE
Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan, Regional Transit Authority (RTA) of Southeast Michigan, Detroit, Michigan (Project Manager). AECOM is developing a Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan for the RTA of Southeast Michigan. The RTA service area is comprised of four counties – Macomb, Wayne, Washtenaw and Oakland – as well as the City of Detroit (which sites in Wayne County).
The plan is branded as part of the Mobility 4 All Program. The AECOM team is also supporting the RTA in Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Section 5310 program management, including the ongoing Call for Projects and an evaluation of the subrecipient and project evaluation process.

Regional Mobility Management Feasibility Study, Massachusetts Department of Transportation Rail and Transit Division, Commonwealth-wide, Massachusetts (Project Manager). The AECOM team worked with the MDOT Rail and Transit Division to evaluate the feasibility of a statewide system of regional mobility managers across the Commonwealth, and to design the network and its associated functions, including attracting new riders. AECOM interviewed peer states to understand other statewide models in action. AECOM also interviewed all 15 Regional Transit Authorities (RTAs) and 75 other transportation service providers and human and social service agencies across the Commonwealth to understand how and if a network of regional mobility managers would benefit agencies and community members. Using the results of this discovery process, we worked with MassDOT to map out a path forward.
