About this file
This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act (SCA) issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division, effective March 30, 2026. The determination applies to Delaware Counties of Kent and covers wage and fringe benefit requirements for federal service contracts in that geographic area.
The wage determination lists 200+ occupation codes and classifications with corresponding hourly wage rates ranging from approximately $13.53 to $58.44 per hour. All listed occupations receive fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours per week, $222.00 weekly, or $962.00 monthly), with an alternative rate of $5.09 per hour for employees on SCA-covered contracts also covered by Executive Order 13706 regarding paid sick leave. Standard benefits include two weeks of paid vacation after one year of service (increasing to five weeks after 20 years), a minimum of twelve paid holidays annually, and uniform allowance reimbursement at $3.35 per week or $0.67 per day. Special provisions apply to computer professionals (exempt from wage determination if meeting specific compensation and duty requirements), air traffic controllers and weather observers (eligible for night pay and Sunday premium differentials of 10% and 25% respectively), hazardous material workers (8% differential for high hazard and 4% for low hazard positions), and certain instructional and technical occupations. The conformance process allows contractors to request authorization for unlisted classifications through Standard Form 1444, with wage rates determined by the Department of Labor based on comparable job duties and skill levels.
