Marion County, Florida

JGP-CN217

Description: JGP Structural Group, Inc. will perform the following:

• JGP will perform on-site field verification of the current existing conditions and the information obtained during this visit will allow formulation of shoring drawings for the structure. Documents for this task will be based on the data collected during the field observation trip.

• It is assumed the existing portions of the pedestals supporting sections of the building are structurally sound and adequate to support the imposed loads.

• When determining areas and the type of shoring to be installed, due to the observation techniques used, only visible conditions can be noted. Additionally, it must be understood that the drawings do not attempt to identify hidden conditions and defects relative structural elements.

Additional shoring could be required beyond what is noted on the drawings. The extents of some conditions may not be known until removal of the finishes is performed during installation of the shoring.

• Engineering design, analysis and code verification of elements outside of the scope of work described above is not included.

• Areas found to require extensive rebuilding due to unsound material and deficiencies beyond what has been observed or known to exist are not included.

• The work will be performed with the degree of skill and the standard of care common to the profession. No warranty is expressed or implied by this agreement.

• Archeological survey and geotechnical services are not included.

• The 60% design documents shall be formatted to the BOC 24"x36" standard and include the standard BOC border. Each individual sheet shall be clearly labeled and dated.

• The 60% technical specifications shall be placed on the drawings or formatted to the BOC 8-

1 /2"x11" standard. The specification sections will be clearly labeled and dated.

• The 60% documents (drawings and OPC-Opinion of Probable Cost) shall be submitted to BOC via electronic file in PDF format.

Deliverable: 60% Documents in pdf format will be provided to BDC for review within six (6) weeks after receipt of execution of the Task Assignment. It is assumed that one (1) week will be allocated for DEP review and comments for the 60% documents.

Performance Measure: Deliverables will be reviewed by the Department to confirm they are complete, accurate, and timely.
