About this file
Scope of Work Summary
This Scope of Work document pertains to the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) in California for the procurement of threaded products and fasteners. The contract encompasses a three-year term with a total budget of $150,000. The Authority seeks qualified contractors capable of supplying various threaded products and fasteners to support its operational and maintenance needs. The document outlines the specific requirements, delivery expectations, and performance standards that contractors must meet throughout the contract period. Bidders are required to submit responsive proposals that address all technical specifications and contractual obligations as detailed in the solicitation materials.
The contract structure includes pricing terms based on the competitive bidding process, with the successful contractor expected to provide cost-effective solutions for the specified products and fasteners over the three-year performance period. The procurement follows standard state and local contracting procedures, with evaluation criteria focused on contractor qualifications, pricing competitiveness, and ability to meet delivery and quality standards. No specific renewal options are outlined in the available documentation, though the initial three-year term provides a defined performance window for the selected contractor.

c) Whenever possible, the expected quality of services to be provided or the performance characteristics of the item shall be specified.
d) The requestor shall identify all optional items, and the solicitation documents shall set forth the expected needs and the manner in which the related bid prices will be considered.
e) Brand name specifications must be accompanied by an explanation that clearly indicates that the specification is not intended to be restrictive.
