About this file
This is Addendum No. 3 to the contract documents for a Massachusetts Department of Transportation project, issued on August 14, 2026, for the Barnstable Park and Ride Expansion and Improvements at Route 132 (FAP No. CRP-003S(984)X, Contract No. 610800-135580). The addendum transmits revisions to contract documents in the form of questions and responses from prospective bidders. Sealed bids are due Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. Key responses address contractor inquiries regarding project specifications: Question 14 regarding a potential 4-5 day to night parking restriction for milling and paving operations will be answered in a later addendum; Question 26 references Addendum No. 2, response 22, for pedestrian bus shelter manufacturer information; Question 27 specifies that trash receptacle locations will be field-located as directed by the engineer; and Question 28 clarifies that light standard foundation precast for the 40-foot tall poles shall measure 3 feet by 10 feet, not 3 feet by 7 feet as initially indicated in the specification tables.
Bidders must acknowledge Addendum No. 3 in their proposal submission files before bidding. This addendum is one of multiple clarifications issued during the procurement process, with previous addenda addressing pavement markings, signage revisions, and other specification details. The document is distributed to prospective bidders and project stakeholders, including the Project Manager Herrio Lamothe, and was prepared by Construction Contracts Engineer Eric M. Cardone, P.E.
