Contractor Acquired Property (CAP):
The following materials, equipment, or components are anticipated to be needed in completion of efforts/tasks associated with this contract, but are not currently on-hand and will not be available prior to contract award. These items may be necessary for the performance of contract tasks and will be used and/or consumed (directly, or as integrated parts in a system) in those efforts.
Topic 1A – Spacecraft Charging and Instrument Calibration Laboratory (SCICL)
Materials, instruments or equipment needed to perform new/contract experiments and/or calibrations in the SCICL, such as:
High-voltage Isolation Transformer - for increasing ion beam source output
Infra-Red (IR) Camera - for detection/observation/measurements of spacecraft component arcing and flashover events
High-speed Camera - for detection/observation/measurements of micro-second arcing and flashover events
Windowless Ultra-violet (UV) Lamp - as a simulated solar EUV source of
Lyman-Alpha high-energy photon emissions
Solar Lamp - as a simulated source of non-EUV/broad-spectrum black-body solar photon emissions
Plasma Source – as a simulated source of space environmental plasma
Topic 1B – Sensors Development
Components, Instruments or Equipment needed to perform contract work on sensor development, such as:
Micro-dosimeters
Flight-grade Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs)
Logic Analyzer (likely 32-line, HP Scope type)
Through-Hole Plating System (attachment to PCB Mill)
