About this file

This is a specifications document for roof replacement work at the US Embassy Seoul compound in South Korea. The project encompasses roof replacements for six buildings: the Chancery, Consular facility, IMOT (Information Management and Operations Technology), PCC (Principal Consular Complex), IPC (Internal Processing Center), and ESO (Embassy Support Operations) Outbuilding. The specifications establish technical requirements, materials standards, and performance criteria that contractors must meet when submitting proposals for this design-bid-build project.

The RFP solicitation (19AQMM26R0342_Seoul_Roof_Replacements_RFP) is being issued by the Department of State Office of Acquisition Management. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for August 18-20, 2026, with written questions due by August 26, 2026. Proposal submissions are due September 7, 2026, by 3:00 PM Eastern Time. This roof replacement project will be executed using a design-bid-build delivery method, requiring contractors to provide both design and construction services for replacing roofing systems across the specified embassy facilities.
